Facebook Giveaway: Official Rules

Eligibility

Giveaway is eligible for US residents only and must be 18 years or older.  Giveaway is void where prohibited by law. 

Sponsorship

This giveaway is solely sponsored by Observer Tools and will be promoted through Facebook.  This giveaway hosted by Observer Tools is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. 

Agreement to Rules

By entering this giveaway, you are agreeing to the Observer Tools Facebook Giveaway Official Rules.  Observer Tools has the right to refuse, withdraw, or disqualify entries at our sole discretion. Participants agree to accept any decisions by Observer Tools, in relation to this giveaway, as final and binding.

Entry Period

This giveaway starts on November 2, 2020 and ends on November 30, 2020 at midnight (EST).

How to Enter

To enter, 1. like the @observertools page and 2. share this post or any other Observer Tools post on Facebook.  Completing these 2 steps count as 1 entry.  Each additional post share counts as an additional entry. Any fraudulent methods of entry or circumvention of the rules may result in the invalidation of a participant’s entries.

Prize

The winner of this giveaway will receive one FL1000, Observer Tools’ professional-grade flashlight.  Retail value is $59.99.  Shipping is included.  Acceptance of the prize grants Observer Tools the permission to use the winner’s entry, name, and likeness for advertising, promotion, and trade without further compensation or remuneration unless prohibited by law.

Odds

The odds of a participant winning is dependent upon the number of eligible entries received.

Selection and Notification of the Winner

The winner will be selected by a random drawing of the eligible entries.  The random drawing will be conducted by Observer Tools.  The winner will be notified by December 3, 2020 via direct message on Facebook Messenger and announced on our Facebook page.  If the winner is found to be ineligible or doesn’t respond to our direct message, Observer Tools will conduct another random drawing to select another winner.  The prize will be shipped, free of charge, by December 6, 2020.

Observer Tools isn’t liable for the winner’s failure to receive notification of winning if he or she provided the wrong information to be able to receive the prize.

Receipt of the prize is upon the condition of compliance with federal, state, and local laws, etc.

Rights Granted by the Entrant

The participants grant Observer Tools the right to use the participant’s submission, voice, likeness, image, statements about the contest, etc., for publicity, news, advertising, promotional purposes, trade, and so forth, without any further notice, review, consent, compensation or remuneration.

Terms & Conditions

Observer Tools reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel or terminate in the event that non-authorized human intervention, a bug or virus, fraud, or other causes beyond your control impact or corrupt the security, fairness, proper conduct, or administration of the giveaway.

Observer Tools has the right to disqualify anyone who violates the terms, as well as your rights to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law in cases where a participant has caused deliberate damage or undermined the legal operation of the promotion.

The Observer Tools' Warranty Policy does not apply to this Observer Tools giveaway or any other Observer Tools giveaway.

Limitation of Liability

A participant’s entry into this giveaway constitutes his or her agreement to release and hold harmless Observer Tools and its subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, etc., against all claims, liability, illness, injury, death, loss, etc., that occurs directly or indirectly from participation in the contest or use/misuse of the awarded prize.

Disputes

Participants agree, as a condition of participating in the promotion, that disputes not resolved between the participant and Observer Tools shall be individually resolved exclusively before a court located in Maryland, without resorting to any form of class action.  Entrants waive all rights to punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, and they waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
